Peter S. Fiske, Ph.D.
As CEO of PAX Water, Peter brings expertise in advanced materials, fluid mechanics and heat transfer and is responsible for technology development and validation. He previously served as the VP of R&D for PAX Scientific. Earlier, he led a research team at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he authored more than 20 technical articles. Peter also served as White House Fellow in the Department of Defense and is a nationally recognized author and lecturer. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) from Princeton, a Ph.D. from Stanford and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
Ken brings expertise in integrating business operations, finance and accounting. His experience in large organizations, such as Kaiser Permanente and TIBCO, enable him to identify and implement best management practices for high-growth companies with innovative technologies. Previously, Ken served as CFO and COO of Powis Parker and General Manager of Transaction Graphics. He has an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wheaton College.
Elizabeth A. Hirschhorn, P.E.
Director of Professional Engineering
Liz’s career in the water industry spans 29 years with a focus on infrastructure planning, design and construction. Her expertise includes hydraulic modeling, tanks, pipelines and pump stations. Previously, Liz served as president of Whitley Burchett & Associates, a civil and environmental engineering firm. She is a registered civil engineer in California and Maryland and has managed a variety of public infrastructure projects. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. She is an active participant in AWWA, CWEA and ASCE.
