Recognized for Leadership in Clean Technology and Global Business Potential

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., September 10, 2007 — PAX Water Technologies, makers of innovative water mixers, today announced that it has been chosen by AlwaysOn as one of the GoingGreen 100 Top Private Companies for 2007. The first-annual elite GoingGreen 100 list was compiled by the AlwaysOn editorial panel. In order to be eligible for the GoingGreen 100 list, companies had to be peer-nominated, with AlwaysOn receiving more than 500 nominations from venture investors, investment bankers and other industry experts.

"The AlwaysOn GoingGreen 100 companies will accelerate the global movement to a more sustainable environment," said Tony Perkins, founder and editor of AlwaysOn. "The ideas and innovation we saw as we reviewed hundreds of clean technology companies will be foundational to the next wave of economic growth in California and beyond. My congratulations to each AlwaysOn GoingGreen 100 winner — these are the companies which we predict will have the greatest market traction, strongest innovation and most game-changing approaches this year."

PAX Water Technologies (PWT) and the GoingGreen 100 Top Private Companies for 2007 will be honored at AlwaysOn GoingGreen to be held at the University of California in Davis from September 10 – 12. GoingGreen is a two-and-a-half-day executive gathering that highlights the significant impact clean technologies have on new economic growth and in sustainable use of natural resources. The idea behind the GoingGreen 100 top private companies list is to identify the most promising entrepreneurial opportunities and investments in the clean technology industry.

PWT’s first product is a highly effective mixer for use in municipal water storage tanks, which can effectively blend up to 5 million gallons using a fraction of the energy of conventional technologies. Combining the patented fluid flow methodologies of PWT’s parent company, PAX Scientific, with the state-of-the-art engineering and computational fluid dynamics, the mixer effectively circulates disinfectant residual and reduces microbial contaminants. PWT is currently developing other energy efficient applications in the water and wastewater industries.

Jason Oppenheimer, Vice President of Marketing for PWT, said, “We’re delighted that our innovative technology has been recognized by our peers and acknowledged by the AlwaysOn editorial panel. Derived from natural flow systems, PAX technology offers a low-cost solution to the problem of water quality deterioration in large storage tanks. With this mixer, we demonstrate our commitment to energy efficient, small-footprint technologies that provide clean, safe drinking water for everyone.”
